Inspector for Regional for over 25 years

We lost a very valuable member of our family, a friendly and devoted inspector and a very good friend to many realtors and clients over a span of thirty years. After a stint in the US Navy doing pre and post flight inspections on fighter jet aircraft on an aircraft carrier Mike returned home to St Louis. He put his training and well developed skills to use in the home inspection business and became really good at finding details, both good and bad, in a house and conveying that information to a client. He had a laid back manner and made clients comfortable with the home while making sure they understood what he found and the severity of it.Mike was a conscientious and completely reliable Inspector, never calling in sick over the years until he was too ill and hospitalized. Once he recovered he was eager to return to work and did so as soon as his doctors released him each time. He made himself available even when in pain and not feeling well. He put up good fight and tried to battle right to the end. Mike will be remembered as a good worker, inspector and above all a good man.Michael Joseph Steinmetz 56, of Hillsboro Mo. passed away on September 25, 2019, in St. Louis Mo. Born July 2, 1963, in Mc Minville Tn. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Hillsboro. 30 plus year employee of Regional Home Inspection Co. An avid football fan and fisherman and a lover of music.
